During the test, you are asked to align a visual reference, such as a line or light, to what feels straight or level to you. Management is usually non-surgical. Results guide vestibular rehabilitation, visual–balance retraining, and monitoring, helping us address the specific pathways contributing to spatial misperception rather than applying generic balance exercises. Further investigation or referral is considered only when symptoms persist, worsen, or significantly affect independence and daily functioning.
